6 Day Uganda Gorilla and Wildlife Safari

This 6 Day Uganda Gorilla and Wildlife Safari takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park for an amazing gorilla trekking experience, and you will also enjoy Queen Elizabeth National Park for both wildlife and chimpanzee trekking.

Day 1. Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

We leave Entebbe or Kampala very early in the morning after breakfast, drive for about 9 hours to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, have lunch on the way in Mbarara, and then proceed to the ancient forest. We arrive late in the evening at Bwindi Impenetrable Forest—dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Wake up very early, have breakfast and then a pre-tracking briefing proceeds. The gorilla trekking adventure begins with a short walk or an all-day hike through rough terrain. Here, you can engage the services of a porter to help the local community, or grab a walking stick from the Park offices.

Day 3. Bwindi – Queen Elizabeth National Park.

After breakfast, we take the drive from Bwindi to the Ishasha sector south of Queen Elizabeth to search for the tree-climbing lions. Along the way, you can see many bird species, as well as elephants, antelopes, and buffalo. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge

Day 4. chimpanzee  tracking – boat safari

After breakfast, drive to Kyambura Gorge for 3 to 4 hours of chimpanzee tracking. Join a small group of trekkers and spend an hour observing the chimps eating, playing, and more, then head back to the Lodge for lunch.

Later in the afternoon, we will do a boat safari on the Kazinga channel towards Lake Edward, where you will see lots of animals like Hippos, buffalo, crocodiles, elephants, and different bird species—dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

6 Day Uganda Gorilla and Wildlife SafariDay 5. Queen – Lake Mburo National Park

Have an early breakfast and proceed to Lake Mburo National Park, lunch at the Lodge, and an afternoon game drive to see the Rothschild giraffes, zebras, leopards and the large eland antelopes.

Day 6. lake mburo – kampala/Entebbe

Have breakfast, then go for a boat cruise on Lake Mburo, where you can see crocodiles, hippos, and wildlife coming to the water. Check out and proceed to Kampala or Entebbe. Lunch at the Equator.
