2 day Murchison Falls Safari TourDay 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, our driver will provide an overview of the Murchison Falls Safari Tour. Thereafter, get on the road and drive through the countryside of Nakasongola lands to Masindi.

Connect to the park from Masindi through the Budongo forests; another primate’s home, as you drive to the top of the breathtaking Murchison Falls, spend about 30 minutes taking lots of pictures and feeling the views; thereafter, head down to land at the Red Chilli Restaurant for Lunch.

After lunch, join the 2:00 pm Boat Cruise, which takes about 3 hours as you enjoy the thrilling upstream to the bottom of the Murchison Falls. Here, it offers a closer view of the mighty waterfall located on the longest river in the world.

Expect to see large schools of hippos and Nile crocodiles, as well as other wild animals along the riverbanks, including elephants, antelopes, warthogs, buffaloes, and much more. If time permits, your guide will take you on a late evening game drive. Depending on which side of the park your Accommodation is.

2 day Murchison Falls Safari TourDay 2: Game Drives in Murchison Falls – Kampala.

Wake up early enough for breakfast, check out of the lodge, and then head out to look for the Early Risers for a morning 3-hour game drive. This will allow you to spot other wildlife such as giraffes, hyenas, leopards in the trees, herds of elephants, Uganda Kobs and hartebeest.

Then, drive back to Kampala, have lunch at the Kabalega Dinner in the Nakasongola region, and then proceed. Stop at Ziwa for Rhino Tracking, it is optional.
