Day 1: Drive to Volcanoes National Park
Pick up from a hotel or place of residence after breakfast and later, briefing on what your 3 days Rwanda gorilla and Dian Fossey hike are all about. You will have a city tour in Kigali where you will pay a visit to the Gisozi genocide site and nearby tourist sites. Later, you will be transferred to Volcanoes National Park.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park
After early morning breakfast, you are expected at the Kinigi offices for a briefing on the set gorilla trekking guidelines. You will be assigned to one gorilla family to track in a group of 8 visitors and at 8:00 am, you will start your actual trek in Volcanoes National Park together with the park ranger guide assigned to you.
This may take you about 2-6 hours depending on your speed of hiking, nature of the habitat, and location of mountain gorillas among other factors. After one hour of gorilla encounter, return to where your trek began and connect to the lodge to have a rest. In the evening, you can choose to pay a visit to scenic Twin Lake-Burera and Ruhondo Lakes or simply chill around the lodge.

Day 3: Dian Fossey tomb hike and drive back to Kigali
Today, you will enjoy your breakfast, and after, you will embark on the Dian Fossey hike. This is to help you understand the conservation legacy of Dian Fossey who helped to save the lives of mountain gorillas. After, you will return and drive back to Kigali
