4 Day Gorillas and Lake Bunyonyi Safari
The 4 Day Gorillas and Lake Bunyonyi Safari is an amazing tour to western Uganda for a gorilla trekking experience. On the other hand, Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale district, also in western Uganda, is the second-deepest lake in Africa after Lake Tanganyika.
Day 1. Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
On this day, our driver guide will pick you up and start the journey to the impenetrable forest. On your way, make a stop at the equator for the equator experience and photography, then proceed to Mbarara town for a hot lunch. Continue to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, check in at the Lodge, freshen up, have your dinner, and overnight.
Day 2. Gorilla trekking and community walk
Wake up early at around 5:30 am have breakfast, and pack your lunch box provided at your Lodge then your guide will take you to the Park headquarters for the briefing before you start the gorilla trekking at exactly 8:00 am, you will have a game Ranger to lead you through the forest and normally takes 3-5 hours depending on your speed and location of the gorilla family, have one hour with these amazing creatures.
Community walk: After the trek, your driver will take you for a community walk to meet the shortest people, the Batwa, enjoy their entertainment as they sing and dance for you, then back to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3. Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Have an early breakfast, check out of the Lodge, then start your journey to Lake Bunyonyi in the Kabale district. On arrival at the Lodge, have lunch and proceed for an evening boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi. Here, you will have a view of the Kigezi hills and different water birds. Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4. Return to Kampala
After breakfast in the morning, relax at the Lodge for about 2 hours, then check out of the Lodge and start your journey to Kampala, have a late lunch at the equator, then proceed to your destination, which could be Kampala or Entebbe International Airport. And the 4-day safari will end.
