4 Day Gorillas and Lake Bunyonyi Safari
The 4 Day Gorillas and Lake Bunyonyi Safari is an amazing tour to western Uganda for a gorilla trekking experience of coming close to the mountain gorillas, and on the other hand, Lake Bunyonyi is located in Kabale district also in western Uganda and is the second deepest lake in Africa after Lake Tanganyika.
Day 1. Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park.
On this day our driver guide will pick you up and start the journey to the impenetrable forest, on your way make a stop over at the equator for the equator experience and photography and then proceed to Mbarara town for hot lunch, after lunch continues to Bwindi impenetrable forest, check-in at the lodge, freshen up have your dinner and overnight.
Day 2. Gorilla trekking and community walk
Wake up early at around 5:30 am have breakfast, and pack your lunch box provided at your lodge then your guide will take you to the park headquarters for the briefing before you start the gorilla trekking at exactly 8:00 am, you will have a game ranger to lead you through the forest and normally takes 3-5 hours depending on your speed and location of the gorilla family, have one hour with these amazing creatures.
Community walk: After the trekking, your driver will take you for a community walk to be able to meet the shortest people called the Batwa, enjoy the entertainment as they sing and dance for you, back to the lodge for dinner, and overnight.
Day 3. Transfer to lake bunyonyi
Have an early breakfast, check out of the lodge then start your journey to Lake Bunyonyi in the Kabale district, on arrival at the lodge have lunch and proceed for an evening boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi, here you will have a view of the Kigezi hills and different water birds, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4. Return to Kampala
After breakfast in the morning, relax at the lodge for about 2 hours then check out of the lodge and start your journey to Kampala, have a late lunch at the equator then proceed to your destination, it could be Kampala or Entebbe international airport. and the 4 days safari will be done.
