Budongo Forest or Kaniyo pabidi, is situated in the north west side of Uganda in Murchison Falls National Park. Your driver/guide will pick you up and drive northwards to the Budongo Wildlife Reserve in Murchison Falls National Park for chimpanzee trekking.
Upon reaching the Forests of Budongo, you will luckily be waited for by the road side baboons and some other primates that always want to lazy along the road. Then reach the Budongo Eco lodge and and meet the guiding Rangers who are gifted and educated about these primates.
Immediately you will enter the forest and start looking out for these eligible primates. As well as you will encounter different tree species like the mahogany, monkeys like vervet, olive monkeys, snakes and winged animals can likewise be spotted.
After the trekking, you will then decide to have lunch and later start off the journey back to Kampala whereby you will touch base in the late evening.
