4 Day Murchison Falls Safari with Rhinos and ChimpanzeesDay 1: A Drive to Murchison Falls Park – Have an Evening with the Chimps

With an early morning breakfast from your Hotel in Entebbe/Kampala. Our Guide will brief instantly. So you drive to Murchison Falls along the Kampala-Gulu Highway.

The Drive takes about 5 hours to reach the Park. Relaxation and Restroom points embarked on the Journey are in Luwero or Migyela Gas stations for 10-15 minutes. You arrive at the Park via Masindi, passing through the Budongo Forests to the riverside landing. Have lunch after checking in at the Lodge.

Then, after lunch, the Staff Ranger will be ready to take you on the Expected Chimpanzee Tracking in one of Uganda’s rainforests, “Budongo Forest”. See how they live their entire life in the wilderness. And this tracking makes you stay with the chimps for a maximum of 1 ½ hours. Afterwards, get back to the Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 2: Head to see the Top of the Falls with an Afternoon Boat Cruise to the Bottom of the Falls

At 8:30 am, take breakfast at the Lodge and head to the captivating Top of the Falls for a sightseeing enchantment and a spectacular view of the falls. At the top of the falls, it’s still an unbelievable scene as it is where the Nile, “Africa’s longest river “, forces its waters into a narrow gorge with a lot of splashes.

“Doesn’t Dare Miss This while at the Top”; moreover, stunningly, an opportunity for a picture, this is Breathtaking, so take as many pictures as possible. Afterwards, within an hour or less, head to the Riverside Bay for Lunch and wait for the 2:00 pm Boat Ride.

Then, after lunch, you will go for an open launch cruise on the Nile because this Boat voyage to the bottom of the falls allows you to see buffalo, hippos, crocodiles, and elephants. And plenty of water birds, that is to say, the rare shoebill, and the Herons, Bee-eaters, cormorants, kingfishers, and much more. After a boat cruise, return to the Lodge for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, move out early for a morning game Drive to hook up with the early-rising wildlife. This thrilling Game Drive will have you see what you missed, namely the elephants, lions, jackals, Hyenas, and more. After the game Drive, you will rest and enjoy a heavy breakfast at the Lodge.

Then, afterwards, you will have an entertaining evening game drive to look for active animals, “rated the best,” with classic sunset views. Then, after about a 3-4 hour game drive, head to your Accommodation for Dinner and an Overnight.

Day 4: Check Out – Track the Rhinos

Have breakfast, check out of the Lodge, and drive out of the Park to the Ziwa Rhinos to be part of the Rhino Findings as we track rhinos in the wild at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. This activity is done by freely walking in the bushes with the sanctuary rangers. Afterwards, get your lunch and leave for Entebbe to catch up with the Evening Flight Back Home.
