UGANDA STARTS ONLINE VISA APPLICATIONS ACCESS.
You can now apply for a Uganda visa exclusively through the official online portal. In fact, this digital system eliminates the need to mail your passport to an embassy via courier; consequently, you also avoid the hassle of long vetting lines at the airport upon arrival.
Are you planning a trip to Uganda for a safari, a business trip, study, a family reunion, a medical camp, or to enjoy the beautiful wildlife and landscape of the Pearl of Africa? You can enjoy the warm hospitality of the Ugandan people by coming a few days before your business trip.
Official Uganda E-Visa portal
Visit the official Uganda E-Visa portal to begin your application. During this process, you must provide your personal details, the purpose of your visit, and your intended length of stay. Furthermore, an immigration officer will vet your submission; consequently, you will receive a decision via email within the standard processing timeframe.
The visa authority will send all decisions regarding your application to the email address you provided; accordingly, you may receive approval, a denial, or a request for additional documents. Before submitting, please check the website to ensure you have included every required document. Furthermore, you must print your online visa to present it to the immigration officer upon arrival, a requirement in place since July 2016.
Visa Grant
Once the government grants your visa, print a physical copy of the document; consequently, you will present this alongside your passport to the immigration officer at the entry point. First, identify the specific visa you require, such as a Uganda tourist visa or an East Africa visa. Furthermore, we encourage tourists visiting both Uganda and Rwanda to request the $100 multiple-entry East African visa, which allows you to explore Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda for up to three months.
Welcome to the Pearl of Africa, where you will find unmatched beauty in its people and scenery. A lot of people come to Uganda for the wildlife, like mountain gorillas, chimpanzees, big five, but all leave impacted by the friendly and helpful Ugandan people.
